Pending: Total number of pending mount requests.
Assigned: Number of mount requests assigned to a device where the volume is
being or already loaded, but still pending in MEDIACOM.
In error: Number of mount requests for which the latest load attempt failed.
VTC / Library name
Identifier of the BackBox VTC where devices are attached.
Devices
Numbers about virtual devices.
Devices: number of devices defined in this BackPak Domain.
In use: number of devices in use by the NonStop tape system, or internally
assigned to a mount request.
Free: number of free devices.
Inoperative: number of devices that are not usable. Reasons may range from
being stopped to not being configured in SCF.
Note: The Status Summary gathers information from the OPER file updated at each load
processing and has very little impact on response time when a VTC is down. However if
the EMS Extractor is not running, MEDIASRV will be accessed and all VTCs will be
contacted, with potentially long response time when there is a TCPIP timeout because a
VTC is down.
Status for NonStop node
This page shows the detailed operational status for a NonStop node, both the NonStop
view and the BackBox internal view of the operational entities.
This page is opened in an additional and dedicated and separate window.
Navigation through the different BackBox pages is possible only from the Home page.
