Device Protocol: Reports if the tape drive is a Standard device handled by a
regular Windows driver, or if the tape drive is an old Legacy drive without
Windows driver. Operation of legacy drives requires a license option.
Data Store
The Data Store page contains information regarding the storage configuration for the
virtual tape volumes.
The initial view shows the list of existing Data Stores. If “Switch to Edit mode” link is
clicked, the buttons “Create Data Store” and link “Delete” are available. The link
“Advanced Properties” shows additional parameters whose default values are acceptable
for usual and simple setups.
