For a Non-Labeled volume, the BackPak name for this volume must be entered, and the
virtualization is submitted for a single volume.
For Labeled volumes, the label will be read from the physical media, and cannot be
changed.
The maximum volume size configured in Volume Groups must be able to contain the
whole data of a physical media.
The NonStop tape catalogs associated to the Volume Groups (TMF, DSM/TC or QTOS)
are not updated. The media to virtualize must always be already cataloged if the
Volume Group is associated to a NonStop tape catalog.
The NonStop tape catalogs can be searched to ease the batching of virtualizations.
A Status page shows the running virtualization-materialization tasks, and allows the
cancellation of some or all tasks.

Status: Link to a Status page that will show all virtualizations and
materializations on all VTCs that have configured physical/external tape drives.
Searching in DSM/TC, TMF and QTOS catalogs: Check when the volumes
are already known in one of these NonStop tape catalogs: TMF, DSM/TC and
QTOS.
When the volume is found in one of the catalogs associated to BackPak Volume
Groups, the volume to virtualize is automatically associated to the right Volume
Group.
This allows submitting the virtualization of a batch of any volumes.
Only catalogs associated to Volume Groups belonging to PRIMARY Data Stores
are considered.
The volumes that are not found in any catalog will be rejected, unless a Volume
Group for Non-Cataloged Volumes is specified in this page.
