Character Set
The multibyte character set widely used
in Japan. It is composed for a
SJISShift_JISKANJI
single-byte character set and a
double-byte character set. It is a subset
of Shift JIS (the double character
portion). Its encoding is big-endian.
Double-character character set required
on systems used by government and
EUC_KREUC-KR (Code Set 1)KSC5601
banking within Korea. Its encoding is
big endian.
NOTE: KSC5601 is supported in
SQL/MP tables only.
