CLIM Ground Connections
All DC-powered CLIMs have a ground plate that is mounted on the back of the enclosure. The
ground plate provides one threaded stud for the ground cable lug. The other end of the ground
cable connects to the cabinet grounding rail.
In addition, there is a ground cable in the unterminated end of DC input power cable that connects
from the power supply to the fuse panel or breaker panel. The ground cable in this cable must also
connect to the cabinet grounding rail. Ask your HP service provider to refer to the CLuster I/O
Module (CLIM) Installation and Configuration Guide for detailed information about connecting
these ground cables.
