NOTE: NS2400T and NS2400ST systems do not support connections to Fibre Channel interfaces.
The supported SAS HBA slot locations are the same for the Storage CLIMs regardless of NS2400
series system type, although the power supplies and type of SAS disk enclosure used differ.

SAS Disk Enclosures
The SAS disk enclosure is a rack-mounted disk enclosure that connects to the Storage CLIM and
supports connections to SAS disk drives with 6Gbps SAS protocol via a dual SAS domain from
the Storage CLIMs to dual-port SAS disk drives. Connections to FCDMs are not supported on any
of the NS2400 series systems.
The M8391-24x and M8392-24x disk enclosure (M8391-24CG and M8392-24CG Disk Enclosure
or M8391-24T and M8392-24T Disk Enclosure) is 2U high and supports up to 24 dual-ported
146 GB 15k rpm or 300 GB 10k rpm 2.5” SAS disk drives. M8391-24x disk enclosures cannot
be daisy-chained.
