Seismic Rack Ground Connections
The NonStop NS2400ST seismic rack requires its own ground connections to the site ground.
There are two ground connections for the cabinet. These are designated with the ground symbol.
For detailed information about grounding the cabinet, ask your HP service provider to refer to the
NonStop NS2200 Series and NS2400 Series Hardware Installation Manual.
Intracabinet Grounding for Seismic Racks
Each NonStop NS2400ST seismic rack has two grounding rails at the rear of the cabinet in front
of the mounting rails. Ground cables are green with a yellow stripe and are used to connect an
enclosure to the cabinet grounding rail. Green hex-head ground screws and star washers secure
the green ground cables to the grounding rail. For detailed information about intracabinet grounding
and ground connections, ask your HP service provider to refer to the NonStop NS2200 Series
and NS2400 Series Hardware Installation Manual.
