Branch Circuits and Circuit Breakers, Three-Phase PDUs
In NonStop NS2400 cabinets without the optional rack-mounted UPS, each of the two PDUs
requires a separate branch circuit of these ratings:

Category D circuit breaker is required.
CAUTION: Be sure the hardware configuration and resultant power loads of each cabinet within
the system do not exceed the capacity of the branch circuit according to applicable electrical codes
and regulations.
Select circuit breaker ratings according to local codes and any applicable regulations for the circuit
capacity. Note that circuit breaker ratings vary if your system includes the optional rack-mounted
HP Model R12000/3 Integrated UPS.
Circuit Breaker Ratings for Three-Phase UPS
These ratings apply to NonStop NS2400 series systems with the optional rack-mounted HP Model
R12000/3 Integrated UPS that is used for a three-phase power configuration:
