TERMINATION-STATUS 16
Cause. The system name given is not in the correct format.
Action Without ON ERROR Clause. TCP suspends the terminal and an error
message is sent to the PATHMON log file.
TERMINATION-STATUS 17
Cause. The Pathmon name given is not a valid guardian process name. This error
could also occur when the Pathmon process, due to an internal error, replies with an
invalid reply message.
Action Without ON ERROR Clause. TCP suspends the terminal and an error
message is sent to the PATHMON log file.
TERMINATION-STATUS 18
Cause. While executing the DIALOG-BEGIN statement, TCP received a
FESCPATHMONCONNECT error for the Pathsend request. The ROUT process had
an I/O error with the Pathmon process while requesting for a link. For more information
on this error, see the FESCPATHMONCONNECT (902) error in Section 6 of TS/MP
Pathsend and Server Programming Manual .

Cause. This error is not used in Pathway/iTS 1.1 and is retained to facilitate
compatibility with the existing applications.

Note. The TERMINATION-SUBSTATUS special register stores the file-system error. There
could be a configuration problem when the TERMINATION-SUBSTATUS register stores the
error value 12. The TCP component of Pathway/iTS 1.1, being a Pathsend requester, uses the
ROUT process to communicate to the Pathway servers and, therefore, the targeted
PATHMON process must allow ROUT process access to server links. This can be controlled
through the SET PATHWAY MAXLINKMONS parameter in Pathway global parameters.
PATHMON LICENSE ERROR
