FASTKCON Configuration File Format
CREATE command and a series of UPDATE commands to merge the additional files
into the FASTCNFG file created from the primary file as follows:
FASTKCUT CREATE cnfg-file,kcon-file
FASTKCUT UPDATE cnfg-file2,kcon-file
.....
FASTKCUT UPDATE cnfg-filen,kcon-file
For example:
FASTKCUT CREATE $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCNFG,*
FASTKCUT UPDATE $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCFG2,*
FASTKCUT UPDATE $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCFG3,*
FASTKCUT UPDATE $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCFG4,*
FASTKCUT UPDATE $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCFG5,*
FASTKCON files cannot be redirected; only a single FASTKCON file is used by a
FASTP network print process.
FASTKCON File Security
Like FASTCNFG files, a FASTKCON file usually contains information that should not
be accessible to all users (for example, passwords). The file can be secured by using
one or both of the following mechanisms:

FUP SECURE and FUP GIVE commands
•
Safeguard protection

FASTKCON Configuration File Format
A FASTKCON file has the following format:
Key Offset 0 bytes
Key Length 48 bytes
Record Length 4000 bytes
Record Layout
Bytes 0-47 Name field. For DEVICE records, specifies the name in uppercase
