Installation, Configuration, and
Usage Considerations for
FASTPNOV
The FASTPNOV print process allows you to use the Spooler to print documents on
printers attached to a NetWare LAN. Once a job is sent to a NetWare print queue, it is
no longer monitored by the Spooler.
The FASTPNOV uses the NetWare Core Protocol (NCP) communications standard.
NCP is a request-response protocol used to access NetWare services.
The FASTPNOV environment consists of the following components:
