Spoolcom JOB Subcommand Considerations
for FASTPNOV
You can alter attributes and change the STATUS of any print job by using the
Spoolcom JOB command and subcommands.
For a complete listing of the JOB subcommands supported by all the FASTP network
print processes, see Table 2-11, Spoolcom JOB Subcommands and Their Effect on
FASTP Network Print Processes, on page 2-38.
Table 5-2 lists the Spoolcom JOB subcommands that have special considerations for
FASTPNOV and describes their effect on NetWare print queues.

Subcommand Effect on NetWare Print Queues
COPIES Specifies the number of copies of this job to be printed.
The print process sends a job once to the NetWare print queue and sets
the
number of copies to be printed.
The maximum number of copies per job is 999. Jobs that have more than
99
9 copies are sent as multiple jobs, each job setting the number of
copies to be printed to 999 or less.
FORM Specifies the form to be used.
The form is defined on the NetWare LAN.
The form name cannot exceed 16 characters.
The form name must begin with a letter.
The default form (that is, when no form is specified) is the default form
de
fined for the NetWare print queue on the NetWare LAN.
OWNER The OWNER string is the Banner Name field for NetWare print jobs.
REPORT The effect of the REPORT subcommand is the same as for any other
S
pooler printer. The REPORT string also is part of the Job Description
field for NetWare print jobs.
