proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
nnnnnn
is an octal return code from the PRINTREAD operation. Error codes returned by
the PRINTREAD procedure are described in the Spooler Programmer’s Guide.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process was attempting to extract job data for printing when
an unexpected error was returned by the Spooler PRINTREAD procedure.
Effect. The device is placed offline.
Recovery. If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems on page 8-1.

is the Spooler device name.
job-num
is the job number.
file-name
is the name of the Spooler Collector data file.
file-err
is the file-system error returned from FILE_OPEN_. See the Guardian Procedure
Errors and Messages Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process could not open the S
pooler Collector data file to read
the print job data.
Effect. The device is placed offline.
