FASTP Network Print Process Environment
The FASTP network print process environment typically consists of:

A product-specific print process named FASTPxxx that communicates with a
network print server using a specific communications protocol.
•
A configuration file (FASTCNFG) for the print process that contains information
about each printer device that it supports.
Figure 1-1 shows the common components of a FASTP network print process attached
to a printer through a network print server.
