FASTPTCP Event Messages
port is not configured for XON-XOFF. (Some printers send these characters regardless
of the setting of flow control as XON-XOFF, CTS, or disabled.) XON and XOFF
characters are displayed as hex 11 and 13.
Effect. The print job is not closed in the Spooler, even though the job usually has been
completely printed. The device will be stuck on this print job, preventing other jobs from
printing.
Recovery. If the job has completely printed, delete the job from the Spooler. If only
XON-XOFF characters are displayed in hex-data, reconfigure the AWAN or terminal
server port to use XON-XOFF, reconfigure the printer to suppress the XON-XOFF (if
possible), or disconnect the AWAN or terminal server RECEIVE DATA wire to disable
input from the printer. As a last resort, use NOTIMINGMARK=YES, but verify that no
data is lost, especially at the end of print jobs.
