proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
cnfg-file
is the name of the FASTCNFG or FASTKCON file:
•
the default file, $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTCNFG
•
the default file, $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.FASTKCON
•
a redirected file specified as a FASTCNFG= parameter in a higher-level
FASTCNFG file
file-err
is the file-system error returned. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and
Messages Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
Cause. The specified FASTCNFG or FASTKCON file could not be opened due to a
file-system error.
Effect. No printing occurs, the Spooler job is requeued, and the Spooler device is
placed offline.
Recovery. If the wrong FASTCNFG or FASTKCON file is used, correct the

ASTCNFG= parameter in the higher-level FASTCNFG file.
If a FASTCNFG file does not exist (error 11), create one.
For error 12 (file in use), make sur
e that the FASTCNFG file is not in use by EDIT or
another process.
For error 48, adjust the file security or restart the Spooler from another user ID.
After the configuration file access is corrected, rest
art the Spooler device. (Depending
on the device configuration, the device might restart automatically.)
