proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the device name of the printer.
dns-name
is the domain name service (DNS) printer.
Cause. An error occurred trying to resolve a DNS name, specified as an ADDRESS
value, into a dotted numeric Internet protocol (IP) address. This message is merely
supplemental information to error message 79, which is also displayed.
Effect. The same as described in error message 79: Varies based on the operation
and error. Possible effects include the following:
•
The job might have printed partially or not at all.
•
The print might be requeued to the Spooler.
•
The Spooler device might be placed offline.
Recovery. Recovery. The same as described in error message 79: Varies based on
the operation and error. Possible recovery actions include the following:
•
Correct the network error.
•
Ensure that the device is online and is not out of paper.
•
Restart the Spooler device. (Depending on the device configuration, the device
might restart automatically.)
