Spooler FASTP Network Print Processes Manual 427528-007

FASTP EMS 512 Text Messages
Cause. This message applies to FASTPXNS only. FASTPXNS received an
unexpected answer to an XNS Courier request. Courier is a protocol used to establish
the environment before printing and after printing.
Effect. The device is placed offline. A subsequent message identifies the actual
operation that failed.
Recovery. If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems on page 8-1.

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
procname
further identifies the procedure. The value is either: PRINTSTART2, PRINTREAD,
or PRINTINFO.
nnn
is a status code returned by the USER_procname procedure.
Cause. A user conversion routine returned a non-zero status value.
