Configuring a FASTP Network Print Process in the
Spooler Subsystem
SKIP Causes the device to skip ahead or skip back the specified number of
pages relative to the current page. The effect of SKIP is the same as
that of any other Spooler printer.
SKIPTO Causes the device to skip to the specified page. The effect of
SKIP
TO is the same as that of any other Spooler printer.
SPEED Allows you to specify the estimated
printing speed of the device. In
most cases, the effect of SPEED is the same as that of any other
Spooler printer, however support for SPEED can vary based on the
specific FASTP network print process being implemented. See the
product-specific sections of this manual for exceptions.
START Causes an offline device to become online. The effect of START is
the
same as that of any other Spooler printer.
STARTFF Specifies whether the print process issues a form feed at the
beg
inning of each job. The effect of STARTFF is the same as that of
any other Spooler printer.
STATUS Displays the attributes of devices in the Spooler subsystem. The
ef
fect of STATUS is the same as that of any other Spooler printer.
SUSPEND Causes the device to suspend printing of the current job. The effect of
SUSPEND is the same as that of
any other Spooler printer.
TIMEOUT Specifies the number of times the print process retries a nonretryable
I/O ope
ration that has failed. The effect of TIMEOUT is the same as
that of any other Spooler printer.
TRUNC Specifies whether lines longer than t
he device width are to be
truncated or wrapped around. The effect of TRUNC is the same as
that of any other Spooler printer.
WIDTH Specifies the maximum line length for the device. The effect of
WIDTH is the
same as that of any other Spooler printer.
XREF
Produces a cross-reference list of devices, locations, and print
processes. The effect of XREF is the same as that of any other
Spooler printer.
