Installation Requirements

Before the FASTPTCP print process can be installed and configured, the following

requirements must be met:

The following products must be installed and configured on your host system:

Spooler subsystem

TCP/IP subsystem

•

Your LAN must be installed and connected to your host system.

Note that the underlying system-product requirements of the LAN connection vary

because the network architecture is different between G-series and D-series

RVUs. For G-series RVUs, TLAM and MLMUX are obsolete. The ServerNet LAN

Systems Access Method (SLSA) subsystem has replaced TLAM.
