About This Manual
This supplement provides information about NonStop SQL/MP and DataLoader/MX
that is specific to H-series RVUs. The HP Integrity NonStop NS-series server is the
next generation NonStop server platform, which runs on the Intel® Itanium®
processor. Integrity NonStop NS-series servers run H-series software. This supplement
describes how H-series software changes affect NonStop SQL/MP and
DataLoader/MX.
For most purposes, the most recent SQL/MP and DataLoader/MX documentation is
valid. However, these major changes in H-series software affect SQL/MP and
DataLoader/MX behavior:

Renamed compilers
•
New linker
•
SRL files are now DLLs
•
Different libraries

SQL documentation can be found in the H-series RVUs category of the NonStop

Audience
This supplement is intended for database administrators and application programmers
who use NonStop SQL/MP or DataLoader/MX. The reader should be familiar with SQL
terms and concepts and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) database
language SQL:1999.
