9 Server Class Commands
This section describes the SPI commands that define and control server classes and server processes
within a Pathway subsystem; the commands are listed in alphabetical order. The server class

With these commands you can:
• Define and modify server class attributes
• Add and delete server classes
• Start and stop server processes
• Return server attribute and status information
• Control server communication
For a brief description of each object type, see “SPI Programming Considerations” (page 29).
NOTE: Information in this section about the interaction between Pathway/iTS TCPs and server
attributes applies to your environment only if you are using the Pathway/iTS product.
ADD SC
Use the ADD SC command to enter the name and description of a server class into the PATHMON
configuration file. For guidelines on calculating appropriate configuration values for your site, see
the TS/MP 2.5 System Management Manual.
Continuation
You cannot use continuation with this command to add all server classes; you must explicitly add
each server class by name.
