Considerations
• The PATHMON process sends a PARAM message to each server created if any named
parameters are defined for the server class. A single PARAM message is created describing
all the parameter names and their values. For more information on PARAM messages, see the
Guardian Programmer’s Guide.
• Before adding a description for a PARAM to the PATHMON configuration file, you must assign
values to all the required fields listed in this command.
• The associated server class must exist before you add the SCPARAM object.
ADD SCPROCESS
Use the ADD SCPROCESS command to add a process name for a given server process of the
PATHMON configuration file.
Continuation
You cannot use continuation with this command to add all server process names; you must explicitly
add each server process name.
