TS/MP 2.5 Management Programming Manual
If you do not assign a value to this field, then the default is ZPWY-VAL-N.
ZMAXDEFINES
is the maximum number of ADD SCDEFINE definitions that you can specify for all
server classes in a PATHMON environment. This field has the same meaning as
the MAXDEFINES parameter in the PATHCOM SET PATHWAY command.
Each ADD SCDEFINE definition counts as one towards the value of this parameter.
The value must be a number from 0 to 8191. The maximum number of DEFINEs
allowed by Pathway for all server classes is 8191.
If you do not assign a value to this field, then the default value is zero.
ZNODEINDEPENDENT
specifies how node names are resolved when no node name is specified for a given
field. This table lists the possible values for the node name stored in the PATHMON
configuration file:
The Value Stored in PATHCTL Is…
ZNODEINDEPENDENT
nl
OFF
ZNODEINDEPENDENT
nl
ON
When This Is Supplied for the
Node Name
Node where PATHMON is
currently running
\*None; no name is supplied
\node\node\node
\*\*\*
The value \* indicates a generic name that designates whatever node the
PATHMON process is running on.
You can explicitly designate node-independence for any PATHMON-controlled
object by specifying \* for the node name when you add the object. However, a
simpler and more comprehensive way to accomplish node independence is to set
ZNODEINDEPENDENT to ON and then omit node names when you add objects;
this is the method HP recommends.
If you do not assign a value to this field, then the default value is ZPWY-VAL-OFF.
For more information on node independence, see the TS/MP 2.5 System
Management Manual.
ZDUMASK
is the default user mask which is used for OSS servers that do not contain their
UMASK attribute set. PATHMON uses this attribute as file mode creation mask while
starting the server process. The Octalnumber entry is a three-digit octal number
that specifies the default maximum permissions for OWNER, GROUP, and OTHERS.
ZSPREBALANCEMODE
specifies the mode in which PATHMON exhibits the enhanced rebalancing of server
process after processor reload. The valid values for this attribute are DISABLE,
AUTO, and MANUAL. If a value is not set for this field, then the default value is
DISABLE. For more information on DISABLE, AUTO and MANUAL see section
'Enhanced Server Process Rebalancing after a processor Reload' in TS/MP 2.5
Release Supplement Manual.
NOTE: The PATHMON for which the attribute is being set must not be running.
