TS/MP 2.5 Management Programming Manual
ZPWY-VAL-CLOSED Specifies not to open the log file; if the log file is already
open, specifies to close it.
ZPWY-VAL-OPEN Specifies to open the log file.
If you do not assign a value to this field and no value was previously assigned,
then the default is ZPWY-VAL-OPEN. Any value previously assigned continues in
effect if you do not assign a new value.
CAUTION: If you turn off logging by closing a current log file, all internally queued messages
are lost.
ZSTATUS
indicates whether status change messages, along with the error messages must be
logged to the file you specify in the ZFILE field. The valid values are:
ZPWY-VAL-OFF Specifies not to include status change messages
ZPWY-VAL-ON Specifies to include status change messages
If you do not assign a value to this field and no value was previously assigned,
then the default is ZPWY-VAL-OFF. Any value previously assigned continues in effect
if you do not assign a new value.
ZEVENTFORMAT
specifies whether messages be formatted as text or as event messages. The valid
values are:
ZPWY-VAL-OFF Specifies to generate text (console) messages
ZPWY-VAL-ON Specifies to generate event messages
The initial PATHMON log file is opened for text message output; that is, the initial
log file is opened as if you assigned ZPWY-VAL-OFF to ZEVENTFORMAT.
If you do not assign a value to this field and no value was previously assigned,
then the default is ZPWY-VAL-OFF. Any value previously assigned continues in effect
if you do not assign a new value.
ZFILE
specifies the name of a file to receive error messages. This field is optional only if
you do not want error reporting to a file. If you specify a disk file, the file must exist.
You must create the file (using the FUP CREATE command) before issuing this
command.
The node name can be either a specific node name or \*, a generic name
representing the node on which the PATHMON process is currently running. If you
do not specify a node name, the default node for the file-name expansion is
determined by the value you specify for the ZNODEINDEPENDENT field of the
START PATHWAY command.
To reset ZFILE using the TACL program, you must use the #SETBYTES builtin function.
For more information, see the SPI Programming Manual. Reset values for each field
are predefined and are described in “SPI Programming Considerations” (page 29).
ZSPREBALANCECPU
triggers PATHMON to start the rebalancing of the server processes on the specified
processor. The PATHMON does not accept this command if the PATHMON is not
configured to run in MANUAL mode. The number indicates the processor number
on which server processes must be rebalanced.
