produced. This file contains only information pertinent to the
G06.28 Release Version Update (RVU).

o LD NATIVE PIC LINKER (T0429)

SYMPTOMS:
Linking fails because it links to a wrong file.
CONDITIONS:
The problem occurs when the file is specified without its (relative
or absolute) path and another file with the same first 8 characters
exists in the guardian SYSnn volume.
LIKELIHOOD:
Rare, because a file with a name that has the same first 8
characters has to exist on the SYSnn subvolume for the problem
to occur.
DIRECT IMPACT:
The linking step fails.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
None
WORKAROUND/RECOVERY:
The file to be linked should be specified with its relative
path (./) or absolute path, even when the file is in its current
directory.
o SMINTRFCE (T0063) and SMLOGVOL (T8472)

As of G06.28, T0063 (SMINTRFCE) has been removed from the SMF
product set. If you are installing the SMF bundle (T8472G07^ACV)
without installing the entire G06.28 SUT, you must remove T0063
from the configuration.
