H06.03 ReadMe
1.2 IPs Available for H06.03 and IPs That Are SUT Based
---------------------------------------------------------
For H06.03, some products previously delivered as Independent
Products (IPs) are now delivered as SUT-based products. For
more information on IPs available for use with H06.03 and those that
are now SUT-based, please see the H06.03 Software Installation and
Upgrade Guide and the H06.03 Release Version Update Compendium.
1.3 Printing Sofdocs for the H06.03 RVU
-----------------------------------------
Most softdocs for the H06.03 RVU do not have embedded
TGAL-formatting commands. If you need to print softdocs directly from
the SUT, use the following TGAL command:
TGAL/IN infile, OUT outfile/ NEW;POFF 8;OUTLEN 80
For those softdocs that do have embedded TGAL-formatting commands,
the aforementioned command can be used as well.
2.0 INSTALLING THE H06.03 RVU
2.1 ServerNet Clusters
------------------------
ServerNet clustering is supported for H06.03. However, NonStop
S-series nodes require installation of SPR T0294 AAP or greater
before connecting Integrity NonStop NS-series nodes to a cluster.
See the H06.03 Software Installation and Upgrade Guide for details.
2.2 Migrating HP NonStop S-Series ServerNet Adapters
------------------------------------------------------
Before connecting a NonStop S-series system to an Integrity NonStop
NS-series system through legacy I/O, you must first update the
firmware for both the S-series Gigabit 4-port ServerNet adapter
(G4SA) and Fibre-channel ServerNet adapter (FCSA). Firmware for
both the G4SA and FCSA adapters used for S-series systems is not
initially compatible with NS-series systems. See the H06.03
Software Installation and Upgrade Guide for details on firmware
versions.
If you have a NonStop S-Series system that is connected to the
Integrity NonStop NS-series system via Expand or ServerNet Clusters,
you do not need to initially update the G4SA or FCSA firmware.
2.3 DSM/SCM Host and Targets
------------------------------
A new client (Planner Interface) and DSM/SCM T6031G01^ABP SPR is
available for NonStop S-series servers and G-series systems. This
new client and server SPR is capable of building a TNS/E target on
a TNS/R host. See your HP service provider or Scout for
availability. See the DSM/SCM User's Guide for information on
