You cannot use DSM/SCM on an Integrity NonStop NS-series to build

an image for NonStop S-Series system server. For more information,

see the DSM/SCM User's Guide.

2.4 OSM Guided Procedure (Processor Complex Firmware Update)

--------------------------------------------------------------

For information on updating processor complex (or blade complex)

firmware for H06.03, see the OSM online help, the Processor Complex

Firmware Update Guided Procedure help, and section 1 in the

H06.03 Software Installation and Upgrade Guide.

Be sure to update the shadow image of all of the slices for all

of the different types of firmware. You should target all slices

during the update.

Do as the procedure tells you, following all of the steps, including

using the OSM Service Connection Slice Reset to reset the slices.

Note that THE ISPFIRMW firmware file is distributed for H06.03 in

T0630G06^AAE. The VPROC will still display T048H01 in OSM and the

VPROC command will display:

T048H01^01MAY05^ISP^20MAY05

2.5 VPROC for FCSA Firmware File Delivered on the H06.03 SUT

--------------------------------------------------------------

For H06.03, the VPROC information identifies the disk file name

I0630 as T0630G06^AAD; however, it is distributed as T0630G06^AAE

on the SUT. The file image is identical to T0630G06^AAD.

2.6 G-Series Compatibility and Interoperability SPRs

------------------------------------------------------

For compatibility and interoperability between the Integrity NonStop

NS-series server and the NonStop S-Series NonStop server, specific

SPRs are required. Some SPRs are not yet available at initial H06.03

FCS, but are scheduled to be available soon after and will be

automatically included in the upcoming G06.27 RVU. See your HP service

provider and Scout for availability.

- T0294 AAP SNETMON: required for ServerNet Clustering (released in

G06.26)

- T9205 ACF TACL: required for remote NEWPROCESS of OCA objects

(released in G06.26)

- T9621 ABB Binder and T9674 AAM PDTSHARE: needed to recognize

OCA region (G06.27)

- T9617 AAY VPROC: needed to recognize code 800 files (G06.27)
