Using DSM/SCM With the H06.05 RVU
A new System Load dialog box, unique to NS-series systems, provides the ability
to:
°
Load the system from alternate system load configurations (using either SCSI
or FC disks) created through the OSM Service Connection. After a
configuration is saved, you can load the system using mirrored disks without
reviving.
°
Exclude the Processor Element (PE) for a particular Blade Element from a
reload operation, so you can dump that PE before reintegration, while getting
the rest of the system running as quickly as possible.
Configure Module action, used to configure IOAM and processor switch modules
Power On System action (NS-series systems only)
Reset action for FCSA, G4SA, and Processor Switch plug-in card (PIC)
OSM Notification Director, T0632G06^AAO, includes support for Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL), which is required for HP SIM support. To enable SSL, see the OSM Migration
Guide.
For more information on OSM client applications, see the OSM Migration Guide or the
online help available from within each application. To upgrade an existing system
console to the latest console software, see the NonStop System Console Installer
Guide.

The DSM/SCM H02 PVU (T6031H02) is supported for Integrity NonStop NS-series
servers only.
A new type of hardware platform and selectable option, TNS/E, for Integrity
NonStop NS-series servers has been added to the Planner Interface (PI) screens.
See the DSM/SCM User’s Guide for configuration information.
By default, the DSM/SCM H02 PVU is configured to manage OSS files. Check that
OSS is configured and started if DSM/SCM is set to manage OSS files. If not, the
Apply can fail.
CNFGINFO supports new system generation options for dynamic-link libraries
(DLLs).
