SYMPTOMS:
Linking fails because it links to a wrong file.
CONDITIONS:
The problem occurs when the file is specified without its (relative
or absolute) path and another file with the same first 8 characters
exists in the cold load SYSnn volume.
LIKELIHOOD:
Rare, because a file with a name that has the same first 8
characters has to exist on the SYSnn subvolume for the problem
to occur.
DIRECT IMPACT:
The linking step fails.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
None
WORKAROUND/RECOVERY:
The file to be linked should be specified with its relative
path (./) or absolute path, even when the file is in its current
directory.

Shell script does not execute with file owner's permission.
CONDITIONS:
The user ID bit of the shell script is set with interpreter name
not specified in the script.
LIKELIHOOD:
Certain
DIRECT IMPACT:

SIDE-EFFECTS:
None
WORKAROUND:
Add shell interpreter name: "#! /bin/sh" in the OSS shell script
file.
RECOVERY:
None

The OSS Shell hangs and does not return the shell prompt.
