2 Operating System The H06.14 RVU contains no new features for operating system products.
3 Application Development Products Native Inspect Native Inspect provides these enhancements in the H06.14 RVU: • • You can invoke function calls in the program being debugged from the debugger command line by using the print command. For example: print foo(). You can view information about files opened by the program being debugged by using the new fopen command. This feature applies to processes as well as snapshot files.
4 Database and Transaction Processing Products The H06.14 RVU contains new features for these database and transaction processing products: • TCM and MeasTCM • NonStop SOAP • TS/MP TCM and MeasTCM TCM and MeasTCM have these changes for the H06.14 RVU: • • TCM and MeasTCM support the NS16200 and NS1200 processors. TCM supports Microsoft Excel 2003. NonStop SOAP NonStop SOAP with Digital Signature is supported on HP NonStop systems.

Migration Considerations The default Pathway security setting for a Pathway coldstart is changed from N (any local or remote user) to O (owner only). For Migrating From TS/MP 2.0 (Only) to TS/MP 2.3 After the system image is built using TS/MP 2.3, TS/MP 2.0 users must remove #ROUT from Persistent Manager ($ZZKRN) and configure #ZACS before starting TS/MP 2.3.
5 Installation and Configuration Products The H06.14 RVU contains no new features for installation and configuration products.
6 Manageability Products Safeguard New Features Safeguard supports these enhancements for the H06.14 RVU: • • • A variable-length TEXT-DESCRIPTION field in audit records. This field helps reduce the disk space required for the Safeguard audit trail files. Filtering of audit records based on the Safeguard global configuration parameters AUDIT-EXCLUDE-FIELD and AUDIT-EXCLUDE-VALUE. This prevents the records from being logged into the audit trail files. Performance improvements.
