iTP WebServer 7.2 Enhancements
iTP Secure WebServer 7.2 is enhanced with the following features:
• Supports the Transport Layer Security 1.1 security protocol.
• Enables control over the HTTP response header ‘ETag’ by setting the configuration directive
"HTTPTraceMethodEnable" to ON/OFF.
• Enables configuration of the PATHMON CREATEDELAY parameter in the iTP WebServer
configuration.
Migration Considerations
iTP Secure WebServer 7.2 does not support the following features:
• RSA keys smaller than 1024 bits.
• SSL2.0 and PCT 1.0 security protocols.
• RC2, DES and RC4-40 encryption algorithms.
The iTP Secure WebServer 7.0 key database is incompatible with iTP Secure WebServer 7.2. Users
need to migrate the existing key database for use with iTP Secure WebServer 7.2, using the
dbmigrate utility released as a part of the iTP Secure WebServer 7.2 distribution.
Fallback Considerations
The following features will not be supported by previous versions of iTP Webserver:
• TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 security protocols.
• RSA keys larger than 1024 bits.
• Camellia and AES encryption standards.
• Configuration directives to turn OFF Etag header.
• Pathway SERVERCLASS attribute to configure CREATEDELAY.
The iTP Secure WebServer 7.2 key database is incompatible with iTP Secure WebServer 7.0. Users
are advised to store a copy of the old key database in case they want to fallback to iTP Secure
WebServer 7.0.
