About This Document
This guide describes:
• Upgrading the initial H06.24 RVU through the use of site update tape (SUT) refreshes, if
necessary.
• Falling back to a previous SYSnn.

Supported Release Version Updates (RVUs)
This manual supports the H06.24.00 RVU and all subsequent H06.24.nn RVUs unless otherwise
noted. Exceptions are described in the text.
Intended Audience
This guide is written for operations staff and support personnel and requires a working knowledge
of Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008, HP NonStop Open System Management
(OSM) Interface client and server components, system console software, NonStop Software
Essentials, DSM/SCM, Target Interface (ZPHITI), and ZPHIRNM applications.

This edition includes these changes:
• Added references to Support Note SN 12023 (OSM application issues with Administrator
user on NSC).
• Information about responding to SPLNSTL SPR warnings issue when you fall back from the
H06.24 RVU to an earlier RVU.
