H06.27 Release Version Update Compendium

6 Manageability and Security Products
XYGATE Merged Audit (XMA)
XMA will now process the iTP Secure WebServer Common Log Format (CLF) logs. To increase
ease of use for the FILTERS file, variable substitution is now available. This is an optional feature.
XMA DISCOVER processing within the XMA Manager has been updated to automatically search
for the CLIM EMS Collector $ZCLA and to process the data if the Collector is found. FILTERS have
been added to assist in the processing of the CLIM audit data.
Migration Considerations
New tables are being added to support iTP Secure WebServer processing.
Fallback Considerations
None. (New tables may be left in place without any negative impact to XMA.)
XYGATE User Authentication (XUA)
XYGATE User Authentication (XUA) provides extensions to help manage what users can do on the
system. It also offers a Single Sign-On client capability for NonStop systems enabling the ability
for customers to include NonStop systems as part of their centralized sign-on strategy. This is the
first release of XUA as a SUT-based product rather than as an Independent Product.
Migration Considerations
None.
Fallback Considerations
None.
CLIM Authlog
This feature will transport authentication events, generated when any user attempts to login to a
CLIM, from the CLIM to the NonStop host system. The events are formatted and logged as an EMS
event zcip-evt-clim-auth-event under a new EMS collector $ZCLA. This feature will allow
security audit applications such as Xygate Merged Audit running on NonStop to access these logs,
retrieve these events from the collector $ZCLA, and include them in audit reports. See the Cluster
I/O Protocols (CIP) Configuration and Management Manual for procedures to retrieve the EMS
messages from the alternative collector.
Migration Considerations
None.
Fallback Considerations
None.
