HP-UX ODBC/MX Client Driver
This new ODBC/MX driver operates on the HP-UX Itanium 64-bit platform with operating system
HP-UX 11.31. The driver is used for database applications coded in C++ that run on the HP-UX
platform and can be used with SQL/MX Release 3.2.1 or later.

NonStop SOAP 4.2
This program releases a newer version of XML parsers that is based on the Xerces C++ version
3.1.1 released previously. For more information, see “Re-deploy NonStop SOAP 4” (page 130)
and the NonStop SOAP 4.1 User’s Guide.
OSM Enhancements
H06.27 introduces enhancements to the OSM Service Connection, OSM Low-Level Link, and
NonStop Mainteance LAN DHCP DNS Configuration Wizard. For more information, see the

Open System Services (OSS) Enhancements
For H06.27, the OSS Core Utilities product introduces several new features. For more information,
see the H06.27 Release Version Update Compendium and the Open System Services Management
and Operations Guide.
Safeguard V5R2 Enhancements
For H06.27, Safeguard V5R2 provides these enhancements:
A new, optional security administrator group to support a more flexible security model for
persistent process management
Changes to the user auditing attribute AUDIT-USER-ACTION-FLAGS.
Use of IP addresses in requests sent to a configured authentication Security Event Exit Process
(SEEP)
Configuring to require confirmation of a SAFECOM STOP command

Spooler FASTP Network Print Process
H06.27 supports a Native Mode version of FASTPTCIP called FASTPTCN. Converting FASTPTCIP
from TNS accelerated code to a TN/SE native mode programs allows it to use the latest TCP/IP
API library services, which provide enhanced error recovery and DNS access mechanisms.

SSL Encryption Support
Beginning with H06.27, the communication between the JDBC/MX Type 4 driver and the ODBC/MX
Server can be encrypted using SSL.
