NonStop SSH
This release of NonStop SSH adds enhancements to accept lists of IP addresses/hostnames for the
configuration parameters INTERFACE and INTERFACEOUT, instead of accepting only a single IP
address. It introduces the new parameter DNSMODE to allow consideration of all IP addresses
mapped from a hostname by DNS, not only the first one. For more details, see the SSH Reference
Manual.
Migration Considerations
To take advantage of these features, you must provide the configuration parameters INTERFACE
and/or INTERFACEOUT and lists of IP addresses. You must set the new DNSMODE parameter to
use all IP addresses returned by DNS for a host name.
Fallback Considerations
These features require the H06.28 or later RVU. If you must fall back to a previous RVU, these
features are not supported.
XYGATE Merged Audit (XMA)
This release of XYGATE Merged Audit adds support for BASE24-eps audit trails and adds
enhancements to simplify installation. For more details, see the XYGATE Merged Audit Reference
Manual.
Migration Considerations
None.
Fallback Considerations
These features require the H06.28 or later RVU. If you must fall back to a previous RVU, these
features are not supported.
Safeguard V5R3
Safeguard V5R3 has the following new features:
Displays a detailed error message upon password change during logon
A detailed error message is displayed when a user attempts to change the password during
the logon process (from either the TACL prompt or the Safeguard LOGON program) when
the global attribute PASSWORD-ERROR-DETAIL is set to ON, and the specified password does
not meet the minimum requirement.
Improved error reporting is provided when exiting SAFECOM
If an error is encountered while processing an IN file or while processing an OBEY command
file, SAFECOM will call ABEND on exit and TACL returns the MESSAGECODE -6 and a
non-zero value as the COMPLETIONCODE instead of STOP (MESSAGECODE -5 and zero
as COMPLETIONCODE).
Processes authorization requests in priority order rather than order of receipt.
Migration Considerations
None.
