Safeguard Enhancements
Improved OSS Auditing
Safeguard now provides more control over OSS auditing. Previously, OSS auditing was controlled
by the AUDIT-CLIENT-OSS global attribute. Safeguard now uses the following existing attributes
to control OSS auditing activities:
• AUDIT-USER-ACTION-PASS
• AUDIT-USER-ACTION-FAIL
These attributes provide greater control over the level of detail included in the audit; previously,
they applied only to the Guardian environment.
Use of this enhancement is optional, and is controlled by the new attribute AUDIT-OSS-FILTER.
The default for this attribute is OFF.
Information Added to the Authentication Record
CREATION-TIMESTAMP and CREATOR information is now included in the user/alias/group
authentication record.
