The 608001-008 edition contained a change to step 3 in “Complete CLIM Setup” (page 128) for
the need to reboot Storage CLIMs after executing the clearlog command.
The 608001-007 edition had the requirements for interoperability SPRs for NonStop SQL/MX
2.3.4 removed as this issue has been fixed in the product.
The 608001-006 edition contained a change to the privileges required for running SSOCLIM. See
“Complete CLIM Setup” (page 128).
The 608001-005 edition contained these changes:
• Considerations for new CLIM types have been added to the J06.09 considerations in Chapter 3:
“Installation, Migration, and Fallback Considerations for This RVU” (page 30).
• Duplicate information has been removed from the J06.09 migration considerations in
Chapter 3: “Installation, Migration, and Fallback Considerations for This RVU” (page 30).
The 608001-004 edition contained these changes:
• Managing SWAN and SWAN 2 concentrator firmware is updated to reference either the
SWAN Concentrator Installation and Support Guide or the SWAN 2 Concentrator Installation
and Support Guide.
• Configuring the WAN manager is updated to reference the WAN Subsystem Configuration
and Management Manual and either the SWAN Concentrator Installation and Support Guide
or the SWAN 2 Concentrator Installation and Support Guide.
• The former Create an Emergency Repair Disk (ERD) or Automated System Recovery (ASR) Disk
section is deleted.
• The former procedural information is deleted and replaced with references to either the SWAN
Concentrator Installation and Support Guide or the SWAN 2 Concentrator Installation and
Support Guide.
The 608001-003 edition contained these changes:
• Minimum firmware now lists the required HSS firmware for NonStop NS2000 series servers.
NOTE: This was removed in a later edition and moved to the NonStop Firmware Matrices.
• SQL/MX 2.3.4 node interoperability SPRs were added.
What This Guide Does Not Cover
• Changes from G-series RVUs. Differences between G-series and J-series RVUs are the same
as for H-series RVUs. For information on differences between G-series and H-series RVUs, see
the H06.nn Software Installation and Upgrade Guide.
• System migration planning. System-wide issues involved in migrating to the latest J-series RVU
are covered in:
