Measure
Measure now handles records from various releases (even future releases) by adjusting the format
of the records to match the template version used by the requesting application.
This template-version functionality allows Measure to place records from datafiles captured from
multiple systems with different releases and/or Measure versions in a single set of ZMS structured
files with a common record format. It further allows applications to request and process measure
records in the format the application was compiled with, independent of the format for the Measure
version that gathered the data. There is no need to recompile applications to stay current with
Measure record formats unless you want the application to utilize new information in the updated
formats.

HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM)
NonStop BladeSystem NB54000c, NB54000c-cg and NonStop NS2200 series systems now
require the HP SUM application for installing and updating firmware in the following components:
• NonStop BladeSystem NB54000c and NB54000c-cg server blades and the Integrated
Lights-Out (iLO) management processor
• NonStop BladeSystem NB54000c and NB54000c-cg Onboard Administrator (OA)
• NonStop NS2200 series blade element

Migration Considerations
• HP SUM is only supported on NonStop BladeSystems NB54000c, NB54000c-cg, NonStop
NS2200 series, and future systems. Firmware update procedures for earlier HP NonStop
systems have not changed.
• Customers must install the HP SUM firmware package onto the NonStop System Console. For
installation instructions, refer to the NonStop Firmware Matrices document.
• HP SUM is supported starting with J06.11. Refer to the NonStop Firmware Matrices document.
