J06.14 Release Version Update Compendium

If OSS Core Utilities are used in J06.14 and a fallback to a preceding release is required, you
must perform one of the following actions:
• The previous applications must be used.
• The applications that were using the OSS Core Utilities must be modified to use utilities from
the Open System Services utilities (OSSUTIL T8626).
Script Languages
The J06.14 RVU introduces Script Languages as a new category of supported products. The initial
release of Script Languages includes NonStop ports of Perl and PHP.

Migration Considerations
None.
Fallback Considerations
The Script Languages are not available for systems running J06.13 or earlier J-series RVUs.
