OSM Enhancements
OSM Service Connection (T0682 H02 ADD) enhancements include:
Support for Gen8 CLIMs.
Display of the Firmware Version attribute on the CLIM Hard Disk.
Support for double chip sparing. For NonStop BladeSystem NB54000c, NonStop NS2100,
and NS2200 servers, which have 4-bit wide DRAM devices, an alarm calling for DIMM
replacement is not generated until two DRAM devices within the same rank fail, saving
unnecessary servicing.
Support for allowing a user other than the default NSC users (such as Administrator) to use
the Prepare for Down System CLIM Firmware Update action on the CLIMs object.
Creation of a major alarm if a DP2 process for a disk volume enters a softdown state and the
other processor is down and/or the other DP2 process is already softdown.
The Register CLIMs with Key Managers Guided Procedure supports 2048 bit certificates.
The OSM Event Viewer now allows customization of time zones, so a user can view EMS
events time-stamped in local time.
OSM system console-based software enhancements include:
Perform the Update HSS and Copy HSS Files actions in OSM Low-Level Link.
Use the NonStop Maintenance LAN DHCP DNS Configuration Wizard, as this requires
connecting to peer NSC.
Support for allowing a user other than the default NSC users (such as Administrator) to:
Perform the Update HSS and Copy HSS Files actions in OSM Low-Level Link.
Use the NonStop Maintenance LAN DHCP DNS Configuration Wizard, as this requires
connecting to peer NSC.
The NonStop Maintenance LAN DHCP DNS Configuration Wizard now allows configuration
of a single DHCP/DNS server to match the settings saved in a configuration file, making it
possible to replace an NSC without having to redo the DHCP/DNS configuration for the
maintenance LAN on both consoles.
Apache OpenOffice has been added to the NonStop System Console (NSC) DVD and is
installed as part of the OSM Console Tools product. OpenOffice can be used to view
spreadsheets, documents, and presentations on the system console; for example, files created
by OSM in .csv (or comma delimited) format, such as hardware inventories created by the
OSM System Inventory Tool, and Access Control List reports or saved Multi-Resource Views
created in the OSM Service Connection.

XYGATE Merged Audit (XMA)
To increase processing efficiency at process startup, XMA Movers will now load a pre-compiled
version of the FILTERS file. This will speed up mover initialization, and also remove the CPU spike
