NonStop Firmware Matrices
NonStop Supported Levels for J06.04–J06.17 and
H06.15–H06.28 for Firmware Not Delivered on the SUT
This table lists supported firmware versions for NonStop firmware that is not delivered on the SUT
for J06.04 through J06.17 and H06.15 through H06.28. The firmware levels listed are applicable
to all included RVUs unless otherwise noted.
NOTE: The information contained in this section is intended to help determine the appropriate
non-SUT firmware levels that may be installed on NonStop systems. It is not intended to describe
which RVUs contain support for specific functions or features offered on NonStop platforms. Product
release documents and RVU release compendiums supersede any information contained in this
document for describing functions and features provided in any specific RVU.
This publication will be updated as additional firmware levels become qualified for use on NonStop
systems. This can occur between NonStop RVUs. If you are viewing this document from DVD or
are using a downloaded or printed copy, see the most recent online version in the NonStop
Technical Library at http://www.hp.com/go/nonstop-docs (located in the Service and maintenance
information section of the HP Integrity NonStop Service Information collection), to check for updates.
Where possible, firmware levels are linked to their download locations. Most of the download
locations listed are in the HP Business Support Center.
Levels marked with in bold and with an asterisk (
*
) are the current NonStop recommended levels.
HP encourages NonStop customers to install the recommended versions of firmware.
CAUTION: Firmware levels not listed in this section have either been found to be unsuitable for
use on NonStop systems or have not been qualified for use on NonStop systems. In the case of XP
disk array firmware, an unlisted version is no longer considered Active, but it might have been
previously qualified. Do not install unlisted firmware levels on NonStop systems.
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, no dependencies exist between approved firmware levels.
Customers are not required to install all of the recommended firmware at the same time.
IMPORTANT: If you encounter an invalid link to the download location listed in this section, make
note of the firmware name and version you need and download the firmware from the HP Business
Support Center following the steps described in “Using the HP Business Support Center or the HP
Support Center to Download Firmware Components Not Delivered on the SUT” (page 76).
