Minimum Supported OA Firmware Levels for NonStop

BladeSystems

The following table identifies the minimum supported OA firmware level for each type of NonStop

BladeSystem.

CAUTION: “NonStop Supported Levels for J06.04–J06.17 and H06.15–H06.28 for Firmware

Not Delivered on the SUT ” (page 12) lists all of the OA firmware levels qualified for use on

NonStop systems. The following table is intended to identify the minimum supported OA firmware

version within the set of levels qualified for use on NonStop systems. Not every subsequent OA

firmware level is immediately qualified for use on NonStop systems.

IMPORTANT: If an OA firmware update is required, the highest numbered version listed in

“NonStop Supported Levels for J06.04–J06.17 and H06.15–H06.28 for Firmware Not Delivered

on the SUT ” (page 12) should be used, except for conditions described in the following notes:

NOTE: OA FW version 3.60 requires either J06.16 or later or OSM SPR T0682ADF or later for

RVUs older than J06.16. If the RVU is not J06.16 or later or if OSM SPR T0682ADF or later is not

installed for RVUs older than J06.16, then OA FW version 3.31 or older should be used. Use of

OA FW version 3.60 on RVUs older than J06.16 without OSM SPR T0682ADF or later will cause

an OSM alarm for a single sign-on failure. For details, please refer to Support Note S13001.

NOTE: OA FW version 4.01 requires either J06.17 or later or OSM SPR T0682ADH or later

for RVUs older than J06.17. If the RVU is not J06.17 or later or if OSM SPR T0682ADH or later

is not installed for RVUs older than J06.17, then OA FW version 3.60 or older should be used.

Use of OA FW version 4.01 on RVUs older than J06.17 without OSM SPR T0682ADH or later

will cause an OSM alarm for a single sign-on failure.
