Determining the Physical Location of a TRSA
CRU
Use the SCF INFO ADAPTER command:
INFO ADAPTER $ZZLAN.<adapter-name>
Scan the output of the command for the group, module, and slot location.
The example shows the output of this command.
Note: If Token-Ring ServerNet adapters (TRSA) CRUs are named using the
manufacturing naming convention, you can easily identify the physical location of the
TRSA CRU by its name as follows:
E<cabid><slot>
where cabid is the two-digit number that identifies the enclosure and slot is the actual
physical slot number in the enclosure. For example, the TRSA CRU named E0153 is
located in enclosure 01, slot 53.
