Labeling the Communications Cable for a
TRSA CRU
1 Find the group, module, and slot in which the Token-Ring ServerNet
adapter (TRSA) CRU is installed.
The figure shows the TRSA CRU slot locations.
2 Tag the communications cable connected to the TRSA CRU with a
physical label, preferably at both ends. The label should include the
following information:
The physical interface (PIF) name assigned to the line. For example,
E0154.0.A.

A description of the equipment and connector to which the cable is to
be connected.

The slot location of the TRSA CRU to which the cable is connected.●
