Replacing an External Rear Group Service LED

Cable Assembly

This procedure replaces an external rear group service LED cable assembly in a

NonStop S-series server online. The rear group service LED is part of this cable

assembly, so if that LED fails, you must replace this entire cable assembly. You do not

need to shut down the system before replacing an external rear group service LED

cable assembly.

Removing an External Rear Group Service LED Cable Assembly Refer to Figure: External Rear Group Service LED Cable Assembly for the following steps. 1 From the service side of the enclosure, unplug the external rear group service LED cable assembly from its connector located directly behind the center cable support. 2 Use a small slotted screwdriver (or a small utility knife) to pry the rear group service LED out of its opening on the center cable support.
