Replacing an Internal Disk Drive CRU
9 Pull the disk drive CRU out far enough that you can support the bottom of
the CRU with one hand (the CRU weighs 3.5 pounds, or 1.6 kilograms)
while holding on to one of the thumbscrews with the other hand.
Caution: The disk drive CRU is extremely fragile. Do not drop it, and
do not subject it to sudden jarring movements.
10 Carefully lift the disk drive CRU all the way out of its slot and set it on its
side on the antistatic mat. Detach the grounding clip of your ESD wriststrap.
11 Immediately install the replacement disk drive CRU. or close the enclosure
door until you are ready to install the replacement CRU. Refer to Safe
