Verifying the SCSI Port is Configured to Support a
Tape Drive
Using OSM or TSM:
Log on to the OSM Service Connection or TSM Service Application.a.
In the tree pane, select the tape icon.b.
Click the attributes tab of the detail pane and check the following:c.
OSM: Under Controller Path, check the Configured Controller Location
Example: PMF.SAC-3.GRP-1.MOD-1.Slot-50
TSM: Check the Adapter Location:
Example: Group 1, Module 1, slot 50 Sac 3
For SCF:
Enter the SCF INFO TAPE, DETAIL command.
-> INFO TAPE $Tape1, DETAIL
The detail display appears:
