Caution:
MSEB PICs are Class-3 CRUs and should be replaced only by personnel trained
by HP.
●
Replace PICs one at a time. Replacing more than one without verifying its
operation might cause connectivity problems, processor halts, or a system
outage.

MSEB Description and Supported PIC Configurations
The (6750M) modular ServerNet expansion board (MSEB) can hold up to six plug-in
cards (PICs). Each PIC contains a ServerNet addressable controller (SAC). The
ServerNet 6 (top) location is reserved for the node-numbering agent (NNA) PIC. Any of
the other PICs (ECL, serial-copper, SMF, or MMF) can be installed in the ServerNet 1
through ServerNet 5 (lower five) locations. There are no restrictions on the PIC
combinations that can be installed in ServerNet 1 through ServerNet 5. See MSEB
Faceplate and Ports, MSEB PIC Locations, and MSEB PICs, Filler Panel, and
Mounting Hardware.
MSEB PICs:
(6750M-N) node-numbering agent (NNA) PIC
(6750M-E) emitter-coupled logic (ECL) PIC
(6750M-C) serial-copper PIC
(6750 M-L) single-mode fiber-optic (SMF) PIC
(6750 M-S) multimode fiber-optic (MMF) PIC
