In S-series enclosures with power shelves, the fault LEDs on the power
supplies remain lit after you power on the system.

Problem
During initialization, the system maintains the power supplies in a margins-
low condition. In this condition, a power supply’s output is 43 volts, which is
low enough to cause the fault LED to light.
Fix
None. This is the normal power-up cycle. After initialization is complete
(usually after one or two minutes), the fault LEDs become unlit and the
green power LEDs become lit.
Note that each power supply is controlled by a different processor, so the
startup period will be different for each power supply.
